Santa Trips in December.

During December we offer 45 minute cruises along the River Wey, primarily for families with young children.

Fun, festive and all proceeds go to The Surrey Care Trust !Join Santa aboard our Swingbridge Tranquility broadbeam boat this Christmas for a gentle family cruise along the River Wey. The boat will depart from Millmead Island in search of Santa – we’ll be looking for clues along the towpath as we pass by.

Where is he hiding…? Enjoy mine pies and a glass of mulled wine as the hunt goes on! Once we find Santa, he’ll hop on board with his sack of gifts to join us in the Christmas cabin for the return journey. Tickets include mince pies and mulled wine or soft drinks, plus a present for the children.

Our dates are:
30th November, 1st December, 7th December, 8th December, 14th December, 18th, 19th, 20th December, 21st and 22nd December.

Times are:
10.00, 11.00, 12.00, 13.30 and 14.30

Bookings are taken on the Electric Theatre website.

Please note: Children over the age of one have to be legally allocated a space, therefore will be charge at full rate. Children under the age of one will not be charged but must be held by a parent/carer at all times and will still need to have a place booked.

Please also note: The cruises on 30th November will be quiet trips with no singing.

Important information: As Swingbridge Tranquility is equipped with an all-weather canopy we can cruise in all weathers. However, trips are subject to river conditions and in the event of the river being closed we will offer ticket holders the opportunity to meet Santa on-board at Dapdune Wharf.

Unfortunately as Surrey Care Trust are a charity, there are no refunds unless an event is completely cancelled. Ticket holders will be notified as early as possible of cancelled departures.

Please note that there is a very limited storage space for buggies and prams.

The children's behaviour and safety is the responsibility of their parent or carer. No refund will be offered should customers be running late and the boat has departed on time.
