Looking for some extra help to look after yourself, mind and body, through pregnancy and the first few months with baby? My classes are suitable for new comers to yoga as well as keen yogis who are looking for something specifically suited for this special time in your life.
Yoga With Baby postnatal classes are designed for you and your baby to do together. A great way to ease yourself back into exercise after the birth of your baby. You can start to increase your fitness, strengthen abdominal, back and pelvic floor muscles, regain good posture, and increase your energy levels. You will also gain some vital relaxation techniques, and you should get a really good stretch for overworked muscle groups. With baby alongside you in the class, the logistics of getting to a postnatal fitness class are much easier to negotiate. Baby is next to you on that mat and fully involved throughout, with a few baby-centred activities included too.
Pregnancy Yoga offers time to stop and breathe, gently work on your strength, and connect with your growing baby through gentle and nurturing yoga specially designed for pregnant parents. The rest of life might be going as usual around you, so it's really important to find a quiet and calm time for yourself, surrounded by others who might just understand what this time of change and transition holds for you.
