A fun, hands-on workshop where children can meet animals and learn how to care for pets.
Perfect for young animal lovers, Pet Pals workshops give children the chance to get up close with a variety of small animals while learning all about responsible pet care in a safe and supervised environment.
These workshops run during most school holidays
Age range: Suitable for children aged 4–10 years
Duration: Up to 45 minutes
Cost: Free (booking required)
Booking: Select your local store and time slot in advance
What to expect:
- Meet and interact with small animals including guinea pigs, hamsters, rats and fish
- Supervised sessions led by experienced petcare advisors
- Fun activities such as colouring sheets and puzzles
- Learn about feeding, handling, grooming and responsible pet ownership
Each child receives:
- An official Pet Pals certificate
- A sticker to take home
Places are limited to one adult per child to ensure a calm and enjoyable experience for both children and animals. Early booking is recommended as sessions can fill up quickly.
