Coronation Weekend at The Hideaway with a special Garden Party

As we know not everyone wants to sit inside and watch ‘Casino Royale’, or ‘The King And I’ on TV all weekend, so The Hideaway will be marking the historic Royal event with a variety of activities next Friday and Saturday.

Any excuse to have a knees-up, right?!

Here’s a run down of the Coronation weekend at The Hideaway:

FRIDAY

– A Royal Menu fit for a King – comprising traditional Cream Teas, Royal themed bakes, a variety of traditionally British sandwiches, strawberries and cream, ice creams and fruit mocktails.

– FREE Royal craft activities for kids – colouring in, Crown decorating, plus more. Just ask the team at the till.

SATURDAY

– Royal Menu fit for a King

– A special Garden Party with Giant Garden Games on the front lawn

– FREE Royal craft activities

– FREE face paint sessions by our resident artist-barista – 10-11am, and 1.30-2.30pm

– Dressing up competition, with a prize for the best dressed – Coronation themed, in whichever way you can!*

– Coronation Ceremony live on the café TV screens throughout the day.

Plenty of family fun for all to celebrate this momentous and historical event!

Open: Tuesday – Friday 8.30-3pm. Saturday 10-3pm
