Chilworth Manor Open Gardens

Next dates

Sorry, there are no future dates available

Sunday 21 May from 11 am – 5 pm

Enjoy an “English Jewel” garden with ancient origins dating back to William the Conqueror and gardens shaped by two impressive women; Sarah, Duchess of Marlborough (18th century) and Daphne, Lady Heald (20th century). Today, much of the garden retains reference to the Duchess who bought the manor in 1725 and immediately doubled its size by adding a glorious, Georgian wing. Explore the grounds and all its beautiful features - terraced walled garden, herbaceous borders, topiary and fruit trees, stewponds, Japanese themed garden, woodland garden walk and many statues. Refreshments in aid of Chilworth Infant School and Chilworth Churches.

Adult - £7.50

Children – Free
