FIND THE ROYAL GEMS ON OUR GARDEN TRAIL
Find the beautiful royal gems hidden in the gardens and discover which Kings and Queens have visited West Horsley Place over the centuries on our Garden Trail.
GET CREATIVE
There will be lots of craft activities, including regal royal crowns, and colouring sheets to enjoy in the barn.
STORYTELLING IN THE LIBRARY
Take a peaceful moment to enjoy the rest in our Library and listen to some of your favourite stories, running at intervals throughout the day.
PLANT A SUNFLOWER
Join our sunflower growing competition by planting a sunflower near our sunflower field. Water it and return through the summer to see whether yours is the tallest!
ENJOY THE GREAT OUTDOORS
Play in our mud kitchen, new for May half term holiday or play some of our garden games near the barn. Explore the wider estate by following one of our walking trails.
ADDITIONAL ACTIVITIES
Tuesday 30th May- Children's stick whittling (recommended for children aged 7+)
Whittling is a great way to introduce children to safe knife skills and making these whittled stick characters is a great beginner activity for young children who haven’t whittled before. Spaces for this activity are limited and available on a first come, first served basis.
FOOD AND DRINK
Grab a coffee from Tiger Lily Coffee, or a flexiterian sausage wrap from BangerWraps in Place Farm Barn Courtyard or bring along a picnic to enjoy in the walled gardens.

Refreshments and light bites will be available from our pop-up café in Place Farm Courtyard. You are also welcome to bring along your own picnic.
Under 3s go free- you do not need to book them a ticket.

Child ticket (aged 3-16) - £5
Family ticket (2 adults and 2 children) - £27
Access to the manor house is limited to family activities on the ground floor. Most activities will take place outside.
Please check in at the arrival desk at Place Farm Barn courtyard. Last entry for the day will be at 3pm.
All ages welcome, but activities are most suited to children aged up to 12 accompanied by their grown ups. Baby changing facilities available.
Only assistance dogs are permitted inside the manor house and walled gardens. However, we have a 380- acre estate in which you are most welcome to take your well-behaved pooch for a walk.
