Come and enjoy little Wey Explorers special summer picnic, with storytelling, bug hunting, bushcraft and lots of fun activities. Don't forget to bring a chlldren's book for the book swap in our second-hand bookshop.

Saturday 23rd July, 11am - 4pm

Bring a picnic blanket and enjoy a day by the river at Dapdune Wharf. Have a go on the balance bikes, take part in pond-dipping, bug hunting and go wild with bushcraft activities from ROAR OUTDOOR.

Children's lunchboxes and treats will be available to buy from the café, as well as cakes, sandwiches and drinks for grown-ups. And for a special treat, the Smithy scoop ice cream tent will be open from 1pm.

All activites are free except bushcraft which is run by ROAR OUTDOOR (£2 per child). Admission to Dapdune Wharf is free. Free parking for National Trust members. Car park charge applies for non-members.
