Please note that the castle itself remains closed, but the grounds are open.
The grounds of Guildford Castle are FREE to visit all year round, and are a great spot to head for a family picnic or for a little wander. Located right in the town centre, adjacent to the HIgh Street, you can explore the beautiful grounds and flower displays.
Don't forget to look out for the life-size statue of Alice Through the Looking Glass!
Visit Guildford Castle and head to the top of the Great Tower for a 360 degree panoramic view of Guildford and the beautiful surrounding countryside. The Castle Grounds are free to enter but there is a small charge if you would like to visit the Castle Keep.
Thera small gift shop on the ground floor of the castle.

There is a small charge to visit the Castle Keep.

The castle grounds are open all year round and admission is free.
