FreeGuildford Cathedral has so much to offer the visitor. As well as an inspiring and peaceful building the Cathedral offers a whole range of attractions from guided tours to enjoying a cup of tea and a cake with friends.
The Cathedral extends a warm welcome to visitors of all ages all year round, from the start of morning services to the end of Evensong each day.
Opening Times
The Cathedral is open 365 days a year. During our regular daily worship times visitors are asked to sit and join the service; at other times during the day you are welcome to wander and enjoy the whole building.
Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday
- 8.30am to 4.30pm (whole Cathedral)
- 4.30pm to 5pm (Nave only)
- 5pm onwards (those attending services only)
Tuesdays
- 7.30am to 4.30pm (whole Cathedral)
- 4.30pm to 5pm (Nave only)
- 5pm onwards (those attending services only)
Sunday - 1.30pm to 3.30pm
The one way system of entry and exit is no longer in operation.
We do remain a mask preferred to all those visiting and coming to services.
