It’s that time of year to dig out your woolly hats and gloves, and get your oooh’s and aaah’s ready to celebrate bonfire night! Here is a selection of some of the best bonfire and firework nights in Guildford and the surrounding areas.

Ripley Bonfire - CANCELLED
Guildford Fireworks Fiesta
Saturday 6th November, 5-9pm
Where: Stoke Park, Nightingale Road, Guildford, GU1 1ER
Tickets: £10 per adult (under 16's free)
Guildford Lions' Fireworks Fiesta is back once again by popular demand! It will be slightly different this year as it is a ticketed event, and there won't be a torchlight procession. There will however be live music, plus a licensed bar and food stalls.
Chiddingfold Bonfire
Saturday 6th November, 5pm - 9pm
Where: Chiddingfold Village Green, Chiddingfold, GU8 4TX
Tickets: Free, donations welcome
Chiddingfold’s annual Bonfire Night begins with a procession of 400 torches leaving at 7pm from St Mary’s Primary school (torches go on sale at 6.30pm). The bonfire will be set alight at 7.15pm, with the fireworks display starting at 8 pm. There will also be plenty of different stalls and activities to get involved with.
Bramley Bonfire
Saturday 6th November, 6pm - 9pm
Where: Bramley Library Car Park GU8 4TX
Tickets: Free, donations welcome
After a years break, the Bramely Bonfire is back for 2021 bigger and better than ever. Starting near the library with a torchlight procession and then followed by a bonfire on the fields nearby,
Cranleigh Lions Bonfire & Fireworks
Saturday 6th November, 1pm – 10pm
Where: The Common, Elmbridge Road side, Cranleigh GU6 8LU
Tickets: Free – recommended donation of min £5
The celebrations start from 1pm with Benson’s Fun Fair on The Common. The Make-a-guy competition will be at 3pm in Stuckland Square, with the winning Guy being carried at the front of the torchlit procession – starting at 5.45 pm. The bonfire starts at 6.50pm, and a fireworks display set to music will start at 7.30 pm.
